"The enigmatic bit supremely talented San Diegan Rich Pavel taught me to shape the fish and gifted me his templates.
A moderate entry rocker combines with a fast bottom contour that incorporates subtle chines that contain a shallow, single concave. From the midpoint, this transitions to a deep double concave and finally, spiral vee exit past the fins. The Pescador is somewhat of a unicorn - enjoying amazing speed because of the refined, continuous rocker and single to double concave, yet very easy to turn thanks to the accelerating spiral vee, hard edges and a little more curve in the outline than some long fish. With a wide sweet spot, she finds her own line right in the pocket and has tonnes of in-built trim speed. She loves to be put on a rail.
Suggested fin set up for this board is as a quad, but it will work very well as a thruster, twinzer or a big twin. "
