This is based on the board that legendary hull rider Steve “Dirt” Krajewski infamously smashed into a pylon while trying to shoot Malibu Pier back in the day. Death Machine indeed!
With a long-standing and devoted following among Californian surfers, the Death Machine is considered by many to be the definitive hull design. A convex bottom all the way, it has a forgiving entry rocker and plentiful surface area in the nose, the outline drawing to the wide point above centre and then tapering to an elongated narrow round tail. The elegant S-deck profile blends into the extremely foiled 50/50 rails.
The Death Machine is the perfect board for smooth and stylish front-foot surfing.
