I wanted to share some news about Sunburnt Mess. After many years of operating our Bondi store, we made the tough decision to close the physical shopfront at the end of April. It’s bittersweet — the shop has been a hub for surfers, friends, and the local community, and I’ve loved every moment of connecting with you in person.

But this isn’t the end of Sunburnt Mess. Far from it. Im shifting our focus entirely online, for the time being. Continuing to bring you Custom surfboards, Glidz Japan custom wetsuits, Sunburnt Mess apparel, and all the stoke you’ve come to expect — just in a digital format.

You can still:

• Order custom surfboards from the likes of Vouch, Gato Heroi, BMT, Michael Saggus, Love Machine and more.

• Order custom Glidz Japan wetsuits, made to your exact measurements for comfort, flexibility, and performance.

• Sunburnt Mess apparel,  authentic surf clothing designed and printed in Bondi, built for comfort, durability, and effortless style.

If you’re in Bondi, feel free to meet me for coffee to discuss your next board or custom wetsuit. If you’re not local, we can connect via video or phone call — I’ll guide you through every step of your order.

Closing the shopfront allows me to focus on what really matters: the best boards, wetsuits, and apparel I can offer — wherever you are. I'll still be here to answer your questions and guide you on custom orders, keeping the community thriving.
