'2492' By Nick Bannehr

'2492' By Nick Bannehr

'Nick Bannehr’s series ‘2492’, is a body of work measuring time through process of repetition. A plateau of geometric images enveloping a space of ones distant idea of what is beyond that which we recognise.

Bannehr aims to create a sensory experience for the viewer, by creating a constant frame set to make relatively all other elements apart from colour to be excluded, allowing the work to unravel in time.

Nick was born and raised in Sydney, graduating from Sydney College of The Arts in 2015 where he built the foundations of his body of work ‘2492’, in which he continues to build on today.

Between graduating and present day, Bannehr has travelled internationally to develop and work on his second major body of work and first solo show to be exhibited later this year.'

4 of Nick's works are on display in Sunburnt mess for your viewing pleasure, for orders or enquires please contact - Pat@sunburntmess.com.
